Dorothy Hellen Miller Caplinger, age 80, died December 10, 1998 in Kearns, Utah from a lingering illness.
Born June 18, 1918 in Parker, Idaho, daughter of Ralph and Cora Knight Miller. Married Warren Augustus Caplinger, March 1, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he preceded her in death August 4, 1984. Active member of the LDS Church and served a mission in California. Lived in Kearns for 44 years.Survived by children, DeAnn (Tom) Webb, Warren (Linda) Caplinger, Kenna (David) Madsen, Barbara Caplinger; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, R.D. and Raymond Miller, Chester, Idaho; sister, Ruth Van DenHazel, Centerville, Utah. Preceded in death by parents; husband; two brothers, Alfred Clair, Victor and sister, Janet.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. at the Kearns 7th Ward, 4270 West 5700 South. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the Church, 1-1:45 p.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
