Artists' Gallery (95 E. Telegraph St., St. George, 628-9293) --Jenyth Bramwell will be the featured artist for the month of December. Reception will be from 5-9 p.m.

Cherry Street Gallery (4790 S. Cherry St. 281-0075) -- "Unityof the Unanswerable Riddles," a show of new works by Mike Fletcher. The Coda Gallery (804 Main, Park City, 655-3803) -- "Group Show," featuring David Dornan, Chris Young, Brad Aldridge, Paul and Silvia Davis, Ray Hare, Patty Kimball, Ron Richmond, Doug Himes, A.D. Shaw, Dennis Smith and many more. The gallery also shows jewelry, glasswork and fabrics.

Eccles Community Art Center (2580 Jefferson Ave., Ogden, 392-6935) -- Paintings by Carl Purcell will be on display through December. Also, the Annual Holiday Artist Invitational & Boutique will continue through Dec. 24.

Fairview Museum of History & Art (85 S. 100 East, Fairview, 427-9216) -- "Pastoral Utah: Artworks from the Utah State Collection," featuring Gordon Cope, Farrell Collett, Adrian Van Suchtelen and pieces from the museum collection including Osral Allred, Theodore Wassmer, Bonnie Posselli, Rick Graham, Will South, Lee Deffebach, Wulf Barsch, Avard Fairbanks, Florence Ware, Jon Rappleye, Ella Peacock, John Heber Stansfield and Lee Udall Bennion.

Kimball Art Center (638 Park Ave., Park City, 649-8882) -- Main gallery: "Summit and Wasatch Counties Open Art Exhibition," featuring two- and three-dimensional work by local artists. Also, in the Badami gallery: "Night Owls," featuring night photography by Gardner, Heath, Keen & Roberts. Both exhibits through Jan. 4.

Museum of Art (Brigham Young University, North Campus Drive, Provo, 378-2787) -- "Frames of Beauty: Questioning the Eye of the Beholder," runs through December."Art on Wheels: A Century of American Automobile Design." The exhibition includes outstanding cars and highlights design innovations from throughout the century. Show runs through Apr. 7, 1999. Also,"Colorprint USA"; fifty artists from each state will have their work displayed through April of '99. BYU art department faculty show, featuring painting, sculpture, ceramics, illustration, graphic design and computer imagery, through May 19, 1999. And "150 Years of American Painting," artwork from BYU's permanent collection, on display through August 1999.

Myra Powell Gallery. (Union Station, 2501 Wall Ave., Ogden, 629-8444)-- "Studio 9," an exhibit featuring a variety of art disciplines; paintings, drawings and sculpture by a group of fellow artist will be on view through December. The artists are Robert Call, Homer Clark, Travis Crowther, Mike Gardner, Jerry Hancock, Steve Songer and Scott Wallis.

Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art (650 N. 1100 East, Logan, 797-0163) -- "Shedding Skins: New Territory for the Permanent Collection," featuring new museum acquisitions, through Dec. 15.

Springville Museum of Art (126 E. 400 South, Springville, 489-2727) -- Works of Utah artist Kent Wallis are now showing through the end of December as well as "The 13th Annual Spiritual and Religious Show," featuring art from all over the state. Also, the Christmas Lamb show through Dec. 31.

St. George Art Museum (47 E. 200 North, St. George, 634-5942) -- "The Regional," a show open to all media and styles of expression. The exhibition will run until Jan. 2.

Weber State University Art Gallery (Collett Art Building, WSU Campus, Ogden, 626-7689) -- Biennial Faculty Exhibition through Dec. 11.
