Jessica Elizabeth Morley Dougherty Preble, born to Gail Maurice and Helen Pearl Herzog Morley, March 29, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Died Nov. 10, 1998 in Santa Ana, California from complications of diabetes.

Married Ted R. Dougherty May 20, 1960. They had two children; later widowed. Married Douglas Preble (D.P.) Nov. 2, 1979.She loved her family, skiing, ice skating, dancing, sewing, needlepoint, painting, sketching, her animals, Sinatra, George Burns and Nat King Cole.

She had a passion for arts and was accomplished in Interior Design.

She is survived by her devoted husband, D.P.; daughter, Simmer Dougherty (Micheal Marcelli), PA; son, Cabot Dougherty, WA; stepdaughter, Wendy Preble, CA; stepfather, John Green, UT; sisters, Robyn Moosavi, Launa (Kent) Foote, Melody (Tom) Philibin, all of UT; grandchildren, Gavin Udahl, CA; David and Ryan Dougherty, PA; nieces and nephews, Amber Wazewski, CA; Velvet Fox, Troy and Tiffani Foote, Levi and Chelsea Parker, Marissa, Tamina, Joey, NJ; and Rhianna Moosavi, all of UT; eight grandnieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, first husband, Ted R. Dougherty, and grandson, Cabot Dougherty II.

Private services were held Nov. 16, 1998.
