Former BYU football player opening Provo restaurant

A former professional football player is opening a cafe downtown and has invited some of his NFL and Brigham Young University buddies to an opening-night party.

Wrapsody, a cafe-style restaurant at 117 N. University Ave., will have a grand opening Friday night. The restaurant's owner, Mark Bellini, will be joined by current and former NFL players including Steve Young, Chad Lewis and Jason Buck for the festivities."Having lived here as a student myself, I realized there were few fun places for college students to go," said Bellini, a wide receiver on BYU's 1984 National Championship team. "We thought we needed a lively place where people could come hang out, listen to music and eat good-tasting, healthy food."

The cafe offers international foods wrapped in gourmet tortillas, hence the name Wrapsody. Nachos, soups, salads, quesadillas and espressos are also on the menu. Meals average about $5.
