ABC's "General Hospital" ran away with a third of the honors, including favorite show, at Friday night's 14th annual Soap Opera Digest Awards.
With "General Hospital" winning six awards, "All My Children" garnering four and "One Life to Live" earning one, ABC swept the competition.In addition, Don Hastings and Kathryn Hays, who play Dr. Bob and Kim Hughes on CBS' "As the World Turns," received the Editor's Award. Hays has been on the show for more than 25 years while Hastings has been a cast member for 38 years.
Readers of Soap Opera Digest selected the winners from a list of nominees compiled by the magazine's editors.
