Beloved mother and grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Louise (Jane) Kight McKee Anderson, 93, passed away March 9, 1998 in her daughter's arms.
Born December 24, 1904, Alexander, Pulaski County, Arkansas to Andrew Jackson Kight and Nancy Louise Wilkerson. Married Herbert Lewis McKee, June 24, 1938, in Los Angeles. Later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple, June 30, 1965. He passed away November, 1968. Married Harold Moroni Anderson, August 30, 1970. He passed away June 1978.Convert LDS Church and loved the gospel of Christ. Member United Daughters of the Confederacy and was proud of her heritage. She loved being with people and serving her fellow man.
Survived by daughter, Pamela McKee (Keith M.) Pickett; stepson, Harold Blaine (Lucille) Anderson; grandchildren, Tory L. Parker (Portugal LDS Mission); Ryan D. (called to serve in the Munich Germany Mission); Devin C., age 16; and Mindi M., age 12; two step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, Jean Ann (Blanton) Jones, Vivian (Henry) McMillan, Jacqueline (Frank) Hardage; nephew, Rodney (Kay) Kight.
Funeral services will be held, Thursday, March 12, 1998, 11 a.m. at the Granite 5th Ward, 2535 E. Newcastle Drive (90th South). Friends may call at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 South) from 7-8 p.m. and from 10-10:45 a.m. the day of the service at the church. Interment Shadow Lawn Cemetery in the Kight Mausoleum, Malvern, Arkansas, Saturday, 1 p.m.
