Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Bessie Maria Gonzales, age 85, passed away March 15, 1998 in Salt Lake City.
Born May 21, 1912 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Married John Gonzales; he preceded her in death. Bessie was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.Survived by her daughters, Juanita Gonzales, San Francisco, CA; Vera (Daniel) Marrufo, Riverside, CA; brother, Ben (Josie) Gabaldon, Salt Lake City; sister, Priscilla (Sandy) Sandoval, Oakland, CA; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons; daughter; 12 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m. at McDougal West Jordan Mortuary, 1861 West 7800 South where friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, 1-1:45 p.m. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
