It was great to see fat-free potato chips with Olean cooking oil in the grocery store recently.

As someone who hits the gym three days a week to offset my insatiable love of so-called "junk food," I tried the product and found it tasted exactly like regular potato chips but came with the (wonderful) perk of being fat-free. Snackmakers should be congratulated for introducing a product to help people who (like me) are interested in controlling their fat intake.I know the self-appointed food police are trying to raise doubts about this product, but don't judge it until you've actually tasted it. I have, and it's great. A fat substitute is a terrific idea, and it's about time. (It's 1998. What the heck took so long?)
