Percy Wilcken Pratt, age 69, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 1998 at his home in Bountiful, Utah.
Born May 8, 1928 in Colonia Dublan, Chihuahua, Mexico, son of Ira Wilcken and Marybelle Merrell Pratt. He married Marjorie Elizabeth Hogan May 15, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death April 24, 1984. He married Virginia Green June 6, 1986 in Bountiful, Utah.Percy devoted his life to family and music. He was a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for nineteen years, more recently a member of the South Davis Civic Chorale. He served an LDS mission to Monterrey, Mexico and has given many years of church service including serving as a guide on Salt Lake Temple Square. He also served in the Spanish Records Extraction and in the Bountiful LDS Temple.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Green Pratt; children, Kevin H. (Gail) Pratt of Fountain Valley, California; Criscell (Stephen) Wager of Orem, Utah; Laurie (Stephen) Curt of Boise, Idaho; Angela (Craig) Larson of Kaysville, Utah; Craig Green of Bountiful, Utah; and Jonathan (Colleen) Green of Layton, Utah; brothers, Barton Pratt of Tucson, Arizona; Parker Pratt of Riverside, California; and Gerald Pratt of El Paso, Texas; 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 1998 at 1 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 11:30 - 12:30 prior to services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
