The widow of a Disney film crew member killed when a camera boom hit a high-voltage line has sued Walt Disney Co. and the crane's maker.

Matthew Gordy, 31, a film grip on the movie "Dinosaur," was killed when sandbags used as a counterweight fell off the boom Feb. 25, causing it to hit utility lines. A grip is a crew member who performs general handyman duties.Gordy's wife, Krista Gordy, filed suit Monday against the studio and Chapman/Leonard Studio Equipment Inc., charging the crane malfunctioned just before touching the electrified wires. She is seeking unspecified damages.

Disney officials declined to comment and Chapman/Leonard officials did not return a call Monday.
