"From the depths of my despair, God lifted up my wings and I experienced many wonderful things." A child of God, H. Denise Pearce, passed away April 15, 1998. While enduring a blood disorder for 19 years, she never lost her sense of humor.
She was born October 30, 1962 in Smyrna, Tennessee to Dennis A. and Helen V. Samuelsen Pearce. She lived life to the fullest, treasuring life, family, friends, and others. She was an accomplished clown and mime, having studied under Marcel Marceau. She was an avid photographer, having received an Associate of Arts Degree from SLCC. She was employed by Transwest Credit Union for a number of years. She loved skiing, hiking, swimming, riding her motorcycle, traveling, and enjoyed the experience of parachute jumping and hot air ballooning.She is survived by her parents; brothers, Dexter A. and Daren T. Pearce; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Thanks Denise, for doing everything you could to stay here on earth as long as possible. As a family, we wish to thank the medical personnel, blood donors, and friends who aided her. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests blood donations to your local blood bank or contributions to your favorite organization or charity.
Funeral service will be held Saturday April 18, 1998 at 2 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St., where friends may call one hr. prior to service. Interment Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 S.
