Virginia Barton Harrison Frost, 87, returned to her Heavenly Father on April 16, 1998, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born on March 17, 1911, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Hyrum Alexander and Eva Lydia Barton. She married Walter Harrison in 1931, and she married Leland C. Frost on March 23, 1946.Her garden was her pride and joy. She was a proud mother of many successful children, one of which became a famous actor, Richard Harrison. She went above and beyond by raising her granddaughter, Bobbie.

She is survived by her children, Barton W. (Barbara) Harrison, Richard F. (Francesca) Harrison, Bill Lee (Mary Lorrine) Frost, Virlee Colleen Frost Baker, and Shirlee Jean (Charles O.) Coltrain. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mercedes Bobbie Babak Azarvand, Windy (Adam) Anderson, Colleen (Jeff) Davis, Vicki Nelson, Kay Jensen, Susan Justesen, Shelly (Terry) Maxwell, Kelly (Cheryl) Harrison, Richard (Suzette) Harrison, Todd J. Vincent, Sabastian Harrison, Frank Frost, Debbie Lee Frost (missing), Barbara Lee Frost; 28 great-grandchildren; and 11 greatgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Harrison.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 5th South, Salt Lake City. Friends and family may call Monday, April 20, 1998, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City, and one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, West Avenue. Funeral Directors; Deseret Memorial Mortuary.
