On April 20, 1998, Geneva "Fern" Atkinson passed away at her home in Mesquite, NV.

She was born on September 13, 1915 in Weston, MO. Married George "Wes" Atkinson, October 31, 1933 in Leavenworth, KS. They resided in California, Alaska, and for 30 years in the Salt Lake area. Fern was an active member of the Masonic Organization Daughters of the Nile, and a member of the Ambassador Club.She loved bridge and the ladies she played with. She had many good friends and a loving family."Fern" is survived by her husband, George W. Atkinson; daughter, Connie Pease (Butch); son, George W Atkinson II (Dorothy); sister, Pauline Edwards, of Kansas City, MO. She leaves eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 27, 1998, Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, where friends may call Sunday evening April 26, 1998, from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 12:45-1:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children.
