The couple whose baby boy was fatally injured while under the care of a British au pair have a new son.
Deborah Eappen gave birth Monday to a 7-pound, 8-ounce baby she and her husband, Sunil, named Kevin.The Eappens' son Matthew died last year at 8 months old. Prosecutors said he was fatally shaken by au pair Louise Woodward.
A judge tossed out a jury's second-degree murder verdict, reducing Woodward's conviction to manslaughter and sentencing her to the 279 days she had served since her arrest.
