Focus on the Family founder James Dobson was back in his Colorado Springs office a week after he suffered a mild stroke.
Dobson and his wife, Shirley, delivered an update on his condition to the Christian ministry's 1,300 staff members Tuesday."I feel absolutely wonderful," Dobson said. "It was a very scary event, especially for my wife. I am very, very grateful to be alive."
Dobson, 62, was discharged from the hospital Monday and told by doctors that he can return to his normal routine. Doctors said he suffered no lasting damage.
