Franklin Covey Co.'s board chairman, Hyrum Smith, was elected to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce board of directors recently. Smith will serve a two-year term on the world's largest business federation, according to a U.S. Chamber of Commerce news release.

The U.S. Chamber board members meet three times a year in Washington, D.C., to formulate policy and strategy. The Chamber represents more than 3 million businesses and organizations.
