Marriott International Inc. and Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc. have completed the conversion of the Ogden Park Hotel into a full-service Marriott Hotel.

The hotel, now renamed as the Ogden Marriott, is located at 247 24th St.Built in 1982, the building has undergone a $6 million renovation in the guest rooms, grand ballrooms and lobby and the addition of a concierge level where daily continental breakfasts are served and receptions held at night.

Jim Abbott, general manager, said for the business traveler the redone hotel has rooms with a large console table and mobile writing desk, two power outlets and a personal computer modem jack, movable task light and full adjustable chair.

In addition, one restaurant has been renamed Allie's American Grill and there also is Pitcher's, a private club for members.

The hotel has 287 guest rooms, five suites, 16,000 square feet for meetings, a gift shop, business center, swimming pool and fitness center.
