Marian Althea Clark Young passed away July 1, 1998 at the home of her daughter, Sandra.
She was born November 18, 1905 in Coalville, Utah to Samuel and Amanda Hibbert Clark. She married Spencer W. Young August 11, 1924. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Spencer preceded her in death July 27, 1990.Marian was a long time resident of Park City, Utah until moving to Salt Lake City in 1955.
Survived by her children, Shirlee (Don) Ransom, Gaye Pearson, Max Young, Yvonne (Francis) Brunyer, Ruth (Don) Gray, Gail (Sandy) Young and Sandra (Lamar) Atkinson. Also survived by 32 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held Monday July 6, 1998 at 11 a.m., at the Wanship City Cemetery, 1.5 miles east of Wanship near Rockport Reservoir. Family and friends may call at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 East 200 South in Salt Lake City on Sunday evening July 5th, from 6-8 p.m.
