Andrew Rypien, the 2-year-old son former NFL quarterback Mark Rypien, died Saturday of complications arising from a brain tumor.

Rypien signed a contract with the Falcons as an experienced backup to starter Chris Chandler but left the team because of his family's health problems."Football is the least of my worries," said Rypien, who signed a two-year, $1.8 million contract in April. "It's obviously something that I've done an awful long time. But when it comes to human values, there's no comparison."
