Frank Angus Snell, son of Francis McClean and Byrl Angus Snell, died August 4, 1998 at his home in Loveland, Colorado.

He was born in St. Anthony, Idaho, and spent his childhood in Bunkerville, Nevada. Later moving to Southern California, he graduated from Bell High School in 1936. Frank joined the Navy, December 8, 1941. He saw battle throughout the Pacific and was honorably discharged as a Chief in December 1945. Once back from World War II, he resumed his work as a journeyman mechanic.Frank married Joy Brown, June 15, 1947.

He is survived by his wife, Joy; and their children: C. Jean Snell, Lt. Col. George Snell, Douglas B. Snell, Rowena S. Holfeltz, Grace S. Schaefer; and 10 grandchildren.

Service will be held Sat., Aug. 8, 1998, 2 p.m. in the Spanish Fork East Stake Center. Interment will follow at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
