Leone Ash Coffin, age 86, passed away from cancer Aug. 31, 1998 in Murrietta, California at the home of her granddaughter, where she has lived the past seven years.
Born August 1, 1912 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Henry Ash and Clara Janette "Nettie" Cobbley. She married Jack Oscar Coffin, who preceded her in death.Surviving are her daughter, Joy Nichol of West Jordan; sister, Lucille Hill of Kauai, Hawaii; four grandchildren, Nord Anderton of Holladay; Kevin Nichol of West Jordan; Laura England of Murrietta, CA; Steve Nichol of Salt Lake City; and seven great-grandchildren, Tara, Ashlea, Rachel and Skyler Nichol; Ian and Briana England; and Arran Nichol.
A graveside service will be 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14, at the Holladay Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life at the LDS Holladay 27th Ward, 5450 So. Holladay Blvd., immediately following the graveside service.
