John Morris Trover was born on May 16, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of W. Morris and Iras (Wright) Trover. John died Dec. 5, 1998.
John spent most of his childhood growing up in Salt Lake City, attending Hawthorne Elementary and Lincoln Jr. High. In 1968 he moved to Riverton, Wyo. where he graduated from Riverton High School. He went on to complete his education at Central Wyo. College and the Univ. of Wyo., graduating with a degree in banking and finance.John had been employed as an accountant for AMAX Coal Co. in Gillette, Wyo. for the past 11 years until the time of his death.
John is survived by his three beautiful children, Brooklin 18, Torrey 13, and Jackson 11. He is also survived by his parents, Morris and Iras Trover, Riverton, WY; Michael (Michele) Trover, Wanship, UT; Clayton (Cindy) Trover, No. Platte, NE; Tera (Shawn) Workman, Fernley, NV; Toni (Randy) Ortlinghaus, Tucson, AZ; 12 nieces and four nephews.
John enjoyed all sports with the many friends he had in Wyoming. He especially looked forward to playing golf with his dad. He excelled in the game, but the funniest part for him was just being together.
John was a devoted family man who deeply cared for his family. He was a wonderful example to everyone he met in the simple and honest way he conducted his life.
Johnny Mo - you are truly loved and respected by everyone who knew you. We will never forget your gentle way, your laugh, or your sparkling blue eyes. You were truly an angel to humanity.
To celebrate John's life, there will be a gathering of family and friends on July 11, 1999 in Salt Lake City.
A memorial fund has been established at the First Interstate Bank of Riverton and should be sent to Trover Children's Fund, First Interstate Bank of Riverton, Riverton, WY 82501.
