The University of Utah seismograph stations reported a small earthquake in south-central Utah Friday.

The quake occurred at 8:24 a.m. and had a magnitude of 3.7.The epicenter was in Southern Wasatch Plateau 21 miles southeast of Salina.

The earthquake was located six miles southeast of a bigger earthquake that shook Salina and the surrounding area 10 years ago.
