CLINTON--Robert M. Grigsby, Jr., age 38, our loving husband, father, son, brother, passed away on October 14, 1999 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Robert was born August 18, 1961 at Travis Air Force Base, California, a son of Robert Millard and Edna Maurine Pruett Grigsby. He enjoyed traveling the world with his family in the military until they settled in Clearfield in 1972.He met his sweetheart, Suzanne Herrington, there in 1983. They married on August 25, 1986.
Robert attended the University of Utah and earned a History Degree. He loved to read, gaze at the stars, and collect coins. He was employed as a control board operator for Safety-Kleen at the time of his death.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne; two daughters, Elizabeth and Catherine; mother, Edna; one sister, Cindy (John) Knight; one brother, Richard (Linda) Grigsby; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 18, 1999 at the Syracuse City Cemetery, 1290 South 1000 West. Local arrangements by Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Association in memory of Robert and his father.
