Daniel Noorda, age 92, born September 23, 1907 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Passed away in Kirkland on October 9th, 1999 of natural causes.

Preceded in death by his wife Fern in 1994. Survived by son, Roy; daughter-in-law, Jeani; brothers, Arthur and Julius; and sisters, Rose, Ruth, and Anne.Dan had been a resident of California for most of his life, but moved to Madison House Retirement Living, Kirkland, in 1998. Served as a U.S. Navy Shipfitter 1st Class in the South Pacific during World War II, and was honorably discharged in 1945. Worked as a Stationary Engineer with Ford Motor Company for 43 years, retired to Paradise, CA in 1972. His true love was carpentry, having built 5 houses over the years in his off time. Dan was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved birds and flowers and had an aviding affection for the outdoors.
