Together Again

BEAVER DAM, AZ--Leland Harmon Boothe, our much loved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and best friend returned to his Heavenly Father and his wife, Cathie on October 31, 1999.Lee was born on July 29, 1923 in Delta, Utah to Christina and Calvin Boothe. Leland married Lola Catherine Hansen on August 25, 1943 in the Salt Lake City Temple. He served in the 101st Cavalry in the Pacific Theater in World War II. He was a faithful high priest in the LDS Church and member of the Mesquite, Nevada 2nd Ward.

Dad will be greatly missed by his family, but we know he is rejoicing with his beloved wife, Cathie; his parents, Calvin and Christina Boothe and his brothers and sisters that preceded him. Leland is survived by four children, Linda L. Smith, Chubbock, ID; Craig H. Boothe, St. George, UT; Christine K. Kline, Bentonville, AR; and Kayleen Terry of Salt Lake City; six brothers and sisters, Vivian Talbot; Wanda Bendixon; Zen Boothe; Velda Pace; Shirley Shirts; Ken Boothe and

Lawrence.

Dad was a wonderful, kind and loving man, a devoted father, master tool and die maker, inventor, entrepreneur and veteran. He had a great sense of humor, a love of music and zest for life. Our father's love for his family, friends and his dedication to service of his fellow man were the most important things in his life.

Funeral services will be held Wed., November 3, 1999 at 10 a.m. Nevada time, at the Mesquite 2nd Ward Chapel, Mesquite, NV. The graveside service will be held on Thurs., November 4, 11 a.m. at the American Fork Cemetery. Friends may call Wed., November 3 at 9 a.m., one hour prior to services.
