Sarepta Prince Jennings, 88, returned peacefully to her Father in Heaven and husband, surrounded by loving family in Price, Friday, Nov. 19, 1999.

She was born Dec. 28, 1910 in Panguitch, Utah to Joseph Oscar Prince and Agnes Sarepta Heywood. She married Val Baker Jennings on September 29, 1940 in Reno, Nevada and was sealed in the Manti Temple, August 21, 1965.Sarepta was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was an active member of the LDS church and served faithfully in many organizations. She especially enjoyed being a visiting teacher. She was a member of DUP.

She is survived by five sons and their wives: Val John of Norfolk, Virginia and Nancy of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina; Doug and Lorna of Price; Joe and Vicki of Orem; Floyd and Susan of Cedar City; Howard and Sherry of Price; 38 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters: Grace Brown of Calif. and Florence Alvey of Escalante. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Val; grandson, Robert Allen; five sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 24, 1999 at the Gordon Creek LDS Chapel at 175 North 1280 West in Price. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and one hour to services at the Church. Burial will be in the Price City Cemetery.
