Aula Glen Dora Haynie Galbraith, age 71, died November 19, 1999 at her home in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

Glen Dora was born on February 2, 1928 in Douglas, Arizona to Glen C. and Aula Haynie. She spent many of her growing-up years in the Mormon Colonies in northern Mexico.She married W. Dee Galbraith on June 17, 1946 in the Manti LDS Temple. Together they made their home in Blanding, Utah. Glen Dora was active in church serving in the Primary, Young Women's, Relief Society, and Sunday School. She also served a stake mission, with her husband, to the

Lamanites in San Juan County.

In 1968 the family moved to Orem, Utah so she could continue her schooling at BYU. She has worked as nurse and medical office manager as well as starting her own business teaching sewing and tailoring. In 1983 she went into the residential care business. She operated care facilities in Provo and later in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Glen Dora was noted for her compassion and exemplary care for residents of her homes. She continued in this capacity until she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June.

Glen Dora was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brothers, Evan, Max, and Lynn. She is survived by her four sons, Gordon (Celeste) and Sam (Robin) both of Orem, Chris (Dorice) of Pleasant Grove, and Rue Lynn of Palm Harbor, Florida; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carl (Gerda) and Clarence

(Barbara) Haynie both of Orem; two sisters, Marie (Bill) Houghtaling of Raleigh, North Carolina and Alma Ann (Wayne) Schneider of Kent, Washington.

Glen Dora you will be greatly missed. We love and appreciate you and the legacy you leave. The funeral will be held Nov. 27, 1999 at Manila First Ward, 3986 West 8800 North (Temple drive), Pleasant Grove. Viewings will be held on Friday, Nov. 26, 199 at 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker-Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North Orem and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church before the funeral.
