Bob passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, surrounded by that which he loved most.
He was born April 21, 1943 in Alisha, Arkansas, son of Eva Ferguson and Joe L. Fredrickson. Bob served his country in the U.S. Navy. He graduated from Utah State University with a B.S. in industrial and technical education/psychology. He received his M.S. also from Utah State University, graduating in special education/counseling psychology. Bob received his PhD from Pacifica graduate institute, Santa Barbara, CA.Professionally Bob has worked in the Mental Health field for over 25 years. His experience spans from clinician, to teacher and administrator. Bob found personal growth in the various board and directorship positions he held over the years in his profession. He was most fulfilled by his individual contact with people, particularly young people. He gained rewarding friendships as a member of the Salt Lake Chapter of the International Footprinters Association.
It was Bob's personal life that gave him the most satisfaction and peace. On
Nov. 19, 1976 he married Glenda Granato. Together with their three children, Matthew Frank, John Patrick and Gia Marie, Bob found his greatest joy. He was a devoted father, a kind and gentle husband and a sincere and authentic human being.
His passing leaves a great void in our lives. The gift of memories we hold in our hearts, and the belief in the resurrection
provide us our hope for the future.
A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Saturday Nov. 6, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 1975 So. 2300 E. Committal Service, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 So. Highland Drive. Funeral Directors, Neil O'Donnell & Sons.
