Gertraud Dorothea Strebel Ochsenhirt, 72, passed away Nov. 7, 1999, in Bountiful, Utah.
Born March 1, 1927, in Munich, Germany, to Dorothea and Maximilian Strebel. Married Karl Ochsenhirt February 28, 1958, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and was an active member of the LDS Church. Served three missions for the church, two with her husband in Germany. Also served in many church callings. Was very devoted to her family and always remembered everyone's birthdays.Survived by daughter, Carol (Tom) Hartvigsen; stepsons, Horst (Gerda) Ochsenhirt, Fred (Rosalyn) Ochsenhirt; brother, Rudolf (Yvonne) Strebel; daughter-in-law, Rebecca (Raul) Cruz; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, all of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by husband Karl, and son Ralph Ochsenhirt.
