Our beloved brother, uncle and friend, Djalmar Aubrey Lund, age 83, passed away November 4, 1999, in
Salt Lake City, Utah.Aubrey (Abe) was born June 23, 1916, in Salt Lake City Utah, the son of Djalmar E. and Aagot Randby Lund. Aubrey attended Washington School and Bryant High School. He graduated from East High School and attended the University Of Utah. He served a mission in Norway. One of his major desires in life was to contribute what he earned to the missionary effort of the LDS Church. He loved music. He played the violin, and at one time he performed in the Assembly Hall. He also sang in many choirs. He was a very loving person who was respected and admired by all who knew him. His passing saddens our hearts and leaves a great void in our lives.
Survivors include: sisters, Margot (James) White, Centerville, Utah; and Constance (Robert) Neel, Salt Lake City, Utah; and brother, Gordon (Joyce) Lund, Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Evangeline (John) Brockman, Thelma (Ira) Griffiths, LaVon (Dell) Tucker.
Graveside services will be held Monday, November 8, 1999, 1 p.m., at the Elysian Burial Gardens, 4580 South 1075 East. Friends may call Monday, from 11:45 a.m.- 12:45p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens.
