Hollister Oliver Higbee, 81, passed away December 9, 1999.

Born January 7, 1918 in Salt Lake City, UT, son of Benjamin F. and Ethel Nelsen Higbee. Married Constance Carpenter October 31, 1940 in Farmington, UT. She preceded him in death, October 21, 1984.Member LDS Church. Served in US Army during World War II. He was an avid University of Utah fan and was a member of the Crimson Club. Loved golfing, bowling and his family, especially his grandsons.

Survivors: sons and daughter, Martin (Suzanne) Higbee of Tucson, AZ; Holly (Stacy) Higbee of Sandy; and Kitty Higbee of Bountiful; four grandsons and one great-grandson; sisters and brother, Connie Carter, Julia Askins, and Benjamin Higbee all of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by three sisters.

A graveside service will be held Monday, December 13, 1999, 1 p.m., Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1350 E. 500 South. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Sunday evening 6-8pm and again on Monday, 12-12:45 p.m.
