SANDY-Millicent Boyer Tester, born April 21, 1907, Santaquin, Utah, to William Augustus Boyer and Geneva Adelaide Kirkman, died December 8, 1999, age 92 years.
The eldest of seven children she grew up in Santaquin and Eureka, Utah. Millicent moved to Salt Lake, where she met and married Vernon Henry Tester, May 11, 1929; sealed in the Jordan River Temple, October 24, 1989. He preceded her in death October 20th, 1987.Millie and Vern lived in East Millcreek and Sugar House before moving to Sandy in 1954. She worked for Bell Plastics, was active in the LDS Church spending many hours extracting German records. She will be remembered for a happy disposition and had a smile for
everyone.
Two sisters, Roberta Lawson, and Jeanne Ricco of CA; one brother, Keith Boyer of NM are still living. She was preceded in death by sister, Eleanor Boyer and Edythe Grund and brother, Max A. Boyer. Mother of seven
children, 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; four sons, V. Lyle (Lyn) of AZ; Neil of AZ; Dixon and Marvin of Salt Lake City; three daughters, Barbara (Stanley) Seward, of Salt Lake City; M. Jean (Joe) Stock of Columbia, UT; Judith Love of Pflugerville, TX.
Funeral Services on Thursday, Dec. 16th, 11 a.m., Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, where friends and family may call on Dec. 15th, 6-8 p.m., and one hour prior to the services. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
