Ruth Patterson Robinson, age 94, died December 19, 1999 in Salt Lake City, UT.
Born April 22, 1905 in Portland OR to Melinda Marks and R. George Patterson. She was married to Walter E. Robinson for 65 years.Ruth loved her family and friends and they also loved her dearly. Gardening was her passion and oil painting was her gift. "Grandma" always made Easter special for her grandchildren. She was a generous and thoughtful person.
Survived by son Howard (Ielene); daughters, Blanche (Reid) Burton, Donna (Ivan) Soutas and Linda (Caregiver "Thank You, Linda"); nine grandchildren and step-grandchildren, and many great and great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, one grandson and one son-in-law preceded her in death.
Graveside dedication will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 1999 at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive. A memorial service will be held in the coming spring.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to the Salvation Army or another charity of their choice.
