HERRIMAN--Loraine Hand Dansie passed away Dec. 5, 1999 at home after a valiant battle with cancer.Born March 31, 1923 to Joesph Heber and Ida Wall Hand. She was raised in Salt Lake City. Married Arthur H. Dansie December 16, 1942. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. She was a member of the L.D.S. Church and served in the Relief Society and Primary. A member of the Utah Daughter of Pioneers and the Herriman Literary Club. Loraine loved camping, quilting and being with family and friends.
Survived by husband, two sons and three daughters, Brent (Alyce), Kent (Rhonny) all of Herriman; Jayne (Gary) Mott; of Kaysville; Jolynne Edwards of Murray; and
Ann Dansie of West Valley City; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, and one sister Betty Cole of Las Vegas, NV.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Herriman 3rd Ward, 13100 So. 6000 W. Friends may call Wednesday eve. from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 W. and Thursday one hour prior at the church. Interment Herriman Cemetery.
