Jerry Alma Drysdale, 54, of Spring Creek, Nevada died Sunday, March 14, 1999 while visiting family members in St. George, Utah.

Jerry was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as Branch President in Soldotna, Alaska and also served as Young Men's President, Elder's Quorum President and taught in the many church organizations. He had a great love of the Boy Scouting program and served in scouting for 30 years.Jerry was a retired teamster and has worked in home construction for the past several years. He worked in carpentry in Utah and Nevada, designing and installing kitchens, and worked for various companies since moving his family to Spring Creek in 1993.

Jerry married Pam Barrett in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 1, 1969. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He is survived by his wife, Pam, Spring Creek, NV; and three children, Michael, 19, who leaves in April for an LDS mission in Venezuela; Bree, 17, and Christy, 15, who are both students at Spring Creek High School. He has two daughters from a previous marriage, Michelle Tucker, in Burns, Oregon; and Sheri Sangster in Boise, Idaho. He has two grandchildren. He is survived also by his father, George Alma Drysdale of Mesa, Arizona and his mother, Vera "Dolly" McGeeham who lives in St. George, Utah. He is survived by several brothers and sisters in the Utah area.

Jerry devoted his life to his family and his church service. He was so proud of the successes of his children. He was so proud of their hard work in school and church. He supported them in all their activities and attended every game and activity.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family at Coldwell Banker, Nannini Realty in Elko or at the Elko Federal Credit Union.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 19, 1999 at 1 p.m. at Spring Creek LDS Church. Bishop Nolan Marshall will conduct. Viewing Thursday, March 18, from 6-8 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Burial in Burns Memorial Garden in Elko, Nevada.
