FILLMORE--Zina Mar Cummings Hunter 96, passed away March 20, 1999 of complications of aging. She was two months short of her 97th birthday.

At the time of her death she was being cared for by the very capable and loving staff at the Fillmore community Medical Center.Our beloved mother and grandmother was born May 20, 1902, to Mary Evelyn Hatton and William Elliot Cummings in Fillmore, Utah. She was the second child of seven and the oldest daughter. She spent most of her childhood in Fillmore and on the Salt Flats of Clear and Swan Lake. Zina married Morris Hunter of Kanosh in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 28, 1922. They became the parents of seven children, all born and reared in their little home at 160 East 100 South in Fillmore, Utah.

Mom was preceded in death by her husband, her eldest daughter, Gwen and her eldest son, Reid; all of her immediate family; her mother and father, brothers Levi, Elmer, Charles and Robert and sisters, Letha and Katie. She is survived by five children, Maxine Evans, of Salt Lake City, UT; Joan Kenney, of Redlands, CA; Sherrill Lunt, of Cedar City, UT; Gail Hunter, of San Diego, CA; and Larry Hunter, of Hurricane, UT; their families; 22 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Saturday March 27, 1999 at 12 noon in the Fillmore LDS Chapel. Friends may call Friday March 26, 1999 from 6-8 pm at Olpin Mortuary in Fillmore and Saturday from 10:30-11:30 prior to services at the Church. Burial will be in the Fillmore City Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Mortuary.
