Itha Le Fevre, 89, born November 2, 1909, second child of nine, daughter of Jesse Alfred and Edith Paxton Le Fevre in Kanosh, Utah, died Friday March 27, 1999, at her home in Washington, Utah, after a massive stroke on March 15, 1999.
She graduated from Millard High in Fillmore, Utah. As a young girl she worked in Provo, Utah, and married Fredrick Hollerman, August 24, 1931, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They had five children, Lena (Ronald) Hansen, Orem, UT; Jesse (Lynda), Ceder City, UT; Belva Ann, deceased (Glen) Campbell, Payson, UT; Sandra Hooper, Santa Rosa, CA; and Peter N., deceased (Lorna) of Elko, NV.She had many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a Young Women's teacher, ward and stake drama director, and loved doing plays and road shows. Fred passed away August 6, 1962 in Provo. She married Andrew Nelsen December 23, 1965, he passed away February 1, 1976, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She married Harold Hobbs, February 12, 1984; he passed away August 8, 1991.
She spent her summers at the cabin in Vivian Park and her winters in Yuma, Arizona, and Washington, Utah.
Living: one sister and two brothers, Rhodella Hicks of San Jose, CA; Elis Le Fevre, Washington, UT; and Hugh Le Fevre, Fillmore, UT. Deceased: Edith, Alfred, Earl, Oliver and Jack. She has 17 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Things she loved are family, church, friends, dancing, crafts, fishing and traveling everywhere and anywhere at anytime.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 31, 1999, at 11 a.m. at the Walker Mortuary of Provo, 85 East 300 South. Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
