The Utah National Guard on Tuesday sent a KC-135 refueling tanker to help in the NATO bombing effort over Yugoslavia.
Hill Air Force Base's two F-16 fighter wings are prepared for combat missions over Kosovo -- if needed. But neither have been called into duty in the Balkans."We're ready to deploy. But we haven't received any call," said Jim Wilson, spokesman for the 388th Fighter Wing.
The F-16s of the 419th Fighter Wing haven't been called yet either, Capt. Dennis Mehring said.
