Stanley Herbert Evans, age 91, died April 15, 1999, Salt Lake City.
Born August 27, 1907, Salt Lake City to Leonard and Ida Blanche Bate Evans. Married Irma Brinton May 5, 1931, Salt Lake City. He was the president and founder of Stanway Printing Co., 50 year member of Kiwanis Club, active in Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, Bonneville Knife and Fork Club, and Skipper and Commodore of Sea Scouts of Salt Lake area.Survivors, wife, Irma; daughters, Shirley Bliss (Richard), and Sandra Smith; son, Dr. Stanley Evans Jr., (Carol); eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother, Edward L., granddaughter, Deborah Anne.
Graveside services Monday, April 19th, 2 p.m., Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive. Funeral Directors Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary.
In lieu of floral offerings it has been suggested that donations be made to the Pediatric Cancer Research, c/o: Primary Childrens Medical Center, or the Huntsman Cancer Center.
