KAYSVILLE -- After a valiant life long struggle, Nicole returned to our Heavenly Parents on Tuesday, April 20, 1999.
Nicole was born July 11, 1975 to Connie and Don Maughan in Salt Lake City, Utah. Nicole was called upon to endure much in this life: two brain tumors, radiation therapy, gran mal seizures, multiple surgeries, paralysis and great pain. But although her physical body was sorely afflicted, her spirit soared. Nicole is an inspiration to all who know her. She always thought the best of people. She loved music, especially that of the Oak Ridge Boys. Nicole will be, perhaps, best remembered for her infectious smile, a smile that she shared even 'til the end. Rest in peace, dear Nicole.Nicole is survived by her brothers, Clifford and David, her sister, Elizabeth, sister-in-law, Paula, nephew, James, niece Abbigail Nicole, and grandparents, Beverly Maughan, David and Elda Fullmer.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 24, 1999, at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville East LDS Stake Center, 201 South 600 East, Kaysville, Utah. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main, and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment Kaysville City Cemetery.
