SANDY--Shirl K. Scroggin, 72, died April 22, 1999.
Born July 24, 1926 in Bingham Canyon, Utah to Ted and Gladys Kerby Scroggin. He married Isabell Rose in Copperton, Utah on May 21, 1947. Shirl retired from Kennecott Copper after 40 years of service and was a Veteran of World War II.Survivors: wife, Isabell, Sandy; sons, Ward (Noreen), Sheridan, Wyoming; Kevin (Jean), Midland, Michigan; Ted (Barb), Evanston, Wyoming; grandchildren, Travis and Daniel, Riverton, Utah; Anissa and Trey, Midland, Michigan; Michael, John and Shannon, and a great grandson, Holden, all Colorado; mother, Gladys, Sandy, Utah. Preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Max.
Graveside services will be held Monday, April 26, 1999 at 11 a.m. in the Sandy City Cemetery 9000 South 700 East. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State Sunday 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bingham High Alumni Association 2160 West Miner Mile, South Jordan, Utah 84095 or a favorite charity.
