Florence Baxter Gray, 89, of Orem passed away April 6, 1999 at Timpanogos Regional Hospital.
She was a kind and gentle woman with a Christlike soul. She devoted her life to her family. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as many friends were the recipients of her full and unconditional love.She was born March 18, 1910 in Lindon, Utah to John Kelly and Elizabeth Morton Baxter. She married LaVerl Ezra Gray on October 14, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away in 1990. Florence grew up in north Orem and attended school in Lindon and Pleasant Grove, graduating from Pleasant Grove High School in 1928. She was an active member of the LDS Church having served in all auxiliaries during her life.
She is survived by two sons: Bruce (Leean) Gray, Orem; Kent (Kathryn) Gray, Kaysville; six grandchildren: Melissa, Todd, Jason, Ashley, David, Trevor and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 10, 1999 at 11 a.m. in the Orem Timpview Ninth Ward Chapel, 1000 North 600 West, Orem. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m.at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment will take place in the Lehi City Cemetery.
