Police have identified a man found shot to death in a car last week and are hoping to talk to two men who may have information about the slaying.
The body of Alberto Cedano-Lopez, 18, was discovered at 9 a.m. May 6 slumped over in the passenger seat of a blue Oldsmobile parked next to the Indian Walk In Center, 120 W. 1300 South.Police say Cedano-Lopez was last seen at noon the day before.
Officers found what they suspect is heroin and cocaine in the car, which at one point had been in the possession of Carlos Perez-Lopez.
Perez-Lopez, described as Cuban, 6 feet 1 inch, 180 pounds with buzz-cut black hair and a thin mustache, is often accompanied by a man named Jose Meza-Garcia, who also goes by "Chino."
Investigators believe the men may been in a four-door Chevrolet Corsica.
The victim, along with the two men police hope to talk to, are alleged to have been involved in illegal drug activities.
