Virgil Bullock, 95 passed away May 11, 1999 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born October 28, 1903 in Caryville, Tenn. He moved from Tennessee to Kennilwirth, Carbon County, Utah to work in the mines. He was later employed in sales of Mining and Industrial Equipment. He met and married his life long companion Edna Johanson July 21, 1931. Virg and his loving wife did not have the opportunity to have children, however, Virg was a father to many people. He was a proud member of The Free and Accepted Masons Lodge Carbon #16, Helper, UT and was a devoted Baptist. Virg had a great love for the Savior and showed a wonderful example of faith and integrity. Virg, Edna and his sister Lucille and husband, Clive had a great relationship and traveled to many places in the world. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and positive outlook on life. He was a excellent teacher on the subject of life and was always willing to share that which he had learned with his many friends as well as his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.Virgil is survived by his wife, Edna; a sister, Della Cox; many nieces and nephews who love him very much. Uncle Virg, we love you and goodbye for now.
Virgil's family would like to thank the staff and care givers at Heritage Care Center for all of there tender loving care given to Virgil.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15, 1999, 11 a.m. in Lake Hills Memorial Estates (10055 S. State Street, Sandy) with visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Lake Hills Memorial Estates.
