As the storm gathered in Utah Valley on Monday, May 3, 1999, Dick Frank Dart, 43, of Payson, asked God to take him home.

Dick was born March 3, 1956 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Frank Blaine and F. Arlene Adams Dart.Dick loved his children, family, snowmobiling, golfing, hunting, a.k.a stump sitting, camping and sports. He was a salesman for Gene Harvey Chevrolet in American Fork.

Dick married Karen Jones. They were later divorced. They had three sons. He married Stacy Danner. They have one daughter.

He is survived by his wife, Stacy, Payson; his children, Elder Blaine Richard Dart serving a mission in Omaha, Nebraska; Greg Dennis; and Jeff Allan Dart of Orem; Caitlin Melinda Dart of Payson; Summer (Brady) Knotts; Ian, Pearce, Cameron and Sean Danner of Payson. His mother, Arlene Dart; sisters, Claudia Naranjo, Sharon Muir, all of Orem; Florence Forsyth of Highland; Linda Rodier of Salt Lake City; Toni (Don) Sullivan of Lindon; and Sue (Scott) Brereton of West Jordan; one grandchild; a plethora of nieces and nephews and a vast extended family. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank, and brother, Dennis.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 7, 1999, at 11 a.m. in the Geneva Heights 2nd Ward Chapel, 590 North 900 West in Orem. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State St. in Orem and also Friday one hour prior to the services at the ward chapel. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
