NORTH LOGAN, UT--Katie Harward Axtell, 79, passed away peacefully in her home, June 14, 1999.
She was born April 10, 1920 in Aurora, UT, to Sarah Janette Harding and Thomas Franklin Harward. She married Ellis Harold Axtell, June 23, 1947 in Great Falls, MT. He preceded her in death in November of 1996.She is survived by her children, Bruce and Karla Axtell, Hyde Park; Ronald and Robin Axtell, Salt Lake City; Kenneth and Shelly Axtell, Midvale; Thomas and Joni Axtell, Logan; Marianne and Farrell Palmer, Henderson, NC; 20 grandchildren; two sisters, Opal and Jimmy Nielsen, Sandy; Pluma and Ray Dastrup, Sigard; and two brothers, Clyde and Beth Harward, Gunnison; Vermont and Melva Harward, Provo. Preceded in death by grandson, Farrell Aaron Palmer.
Funeral services will be at 12 noon Friday, June 18, 1999 at the North Logan 11th Ward Chapel, 1900 North 1594 East, where friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Allen Hall Mortuary.
