REDLANDS, CA--Ashley Ann Elizabeth Stroud, beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, returned home to her Heavenly Father on June 27, 1999, after almost 18 years of sharing her sweet spirit with her eternal family. She passed away peacefully at home by her mother's side. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was born September 21, 1981, in Dallas, Texas, to David and Julene Stroud. She is survived by her parents, Julene (Drew) Cutler, Redlands, CA; and David (Kristin) Stroud, Ogden, UT; her brothers and "protectors", Brandon (Melanie) Stroud, Gilbert, AZ; Jaymeson (Shelby) Stroud, Provo, UT; Shane (Andrea) Stroud, Mesa, AZ; her loving sister and best friend, Brittany Stroud, Redlands, CA; her grandparents, Blanche Hale, Midvale, UT; Dean and Enid Stroud, Salt Lake City, UT; Ralph and Carol Cutler, Redlands, CA; Ken Johnson, Ogden, UT; her niece, Sienna Stroud, Provo, UT; and many, many special friends.Ashley was an angel on loan to us, and though she spent much of her life struggling with illness, she taught us all powerful lessons. When we went to nurture her, she nurtured us; when we went to comfort her, she comforted us. We are all blessed for having her a part of our lives and look forward to the time we will all meet again in our mansions above.
