Ada Mae Petersen, age 80, passed away June 3, 1999 in Sandy, Utah.
Born June 30, 1918 in Brigham City, Utah, daughter of Oliver George and Ethel Rosannah Loveland. Married Russell Collings Petersen, November 20, 1936. Long time resident of Garfield and Magna. Member of the LDS Church. She worked for 17 years at the Work Activity Center as an instructor for the handicapped.The family would like to express thanks to Sandy Regional for their loving care towards our mother.
Survived by sons, Ron (Rosemary) Petersen, Spokane, WA; Dennis (Sandra) Petersen, Taylorsville; daughters, Linda (Allen) Spencer, Salt Lake City; Gae (Dale) Wagstaff, Sandy; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Sevenna Licht. Preceded in death by husband, Russell; brother, E. Wayne Loveland.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, 1 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday, 12-12:45 p.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
