Myra Mann Ellsworth Kuhre, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on July 12, 1999.

She was born in Cowley, Wyoming, August 13, 1907, the last child of Charles B. and Myra Hatch Mann.She has served her God in whatever calling was asked of her. Her testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ was strong, and she expressed it fervently and frequently. It was a guiding influence in her life and the lives of her family. Most of all she served her family and friends by generously giving her love and her substance to those in need. She has also served her country by being active in her chosen political party.

Myra was married to German Smith Ellsworth (deceased). Following the loss of her husband, German, she married Udell K. Kuhre (deceased). She is survived by seven children: Elaine E. Naylor, Salt Lake City; Dr. Richard G. (Betty) Ellsworth, Provo; Stanford G. (Judy) Ellsworth, Salt Lake City; Dr. Sterling G. (Anne) Ellsworth, Eugene, Oregon; Sharon E. (Kumen) Smith, Kennewick, Washington; German C. M. (Ruth) Ellsworth, Eugene, Oregon; John M. (Aleda) Ellsworth, Salt Lake City, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4760 Highland Drive, on Wednesday, July 14, 1999, from 6-8 p.m. or at the Cottonwood Stake Center, 1750 E. Spring Lane, Thursday,July 15, 1999, between 10-11 a.m. Funeral will be Thursday, July 15, at 11 a.m. in the Cottonwood Stake Center. Interment will be at the family gravesite in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
